This tax year end, new and existing customers using AJ Bell’s Dodl investing app will be able to benefit from a fee-free ISA and Lifetime ISA for the next year, with the aim of helping more people feel good while building their ISA portfolios.
The new offer means people can access ISAs and Lifetime ISAs that have no account fees, no dealing charges and an attractive rate of interest of 3.8% AER on uninvested cash. AJ Bell Dodl offers a select range of multi-asset funds, themed investments and shares in popular UK and US companies.
The fee-free offer runs from 1 February 2026 through to 30 April 2026, meaning that both new and existing customers funding an ISA or Lifetime ISA from next week through to the end of April will pay no account fees for the first 12 months.
AJ Bell managing director, Charlie Musson, says:
“Investing doesn’t require masses of experience or huge sums of money and it certainly doesn’t need to cost you a fortune. People often believe investing is an expensive activity restricted to wealthy people and finance geeks. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
“We want to help more people invest and we want them to feel good along the way, so this offer provides an added reason for people to make 2026 the year they join the millions of others that have benefited from ISAs and stock market investing.”
About the offer
The offer applies to all new and existing AJ Bell Dodl ISA or Lifetime ISA holders from 1 February until 30 April 2026, subject to a minimum funding requirement of £1,000. This includes new accounts opened with a cash deposit and ISA transfers from another provider.
Dodl charges
Dodl charges one simple low-cost charge of 0.15% on the value of investments, subject to a £1 per month minimum charge. This charge will be waived for new ISA and Lifetime ISA accounts for 12 months from the date of the fee-free offer opening.
Investment charges will apply where applicable. These include underlying fund charges for any investments selected, stamp duty tax of 0.5% when buying UK shares and a foreign exchange charge of up to 0.75% on US shares. Full information on Dodl charges can be found here: https://dodl.co.uk/charges.
