Brand Partnerships Lead

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Brand Partnerships Lead to join our Brand team in Manchester, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Brand Partnerships Lead will plan and manage the delivery of AJ Bell's sponsorship and charity partnerships, with the purpose of increasing awareness and consideration of our brand. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who has previous partnerships experience and ideally has previously managed or mentored other people. 

What does the role involve? 

  • Lead and manage AJ Bell’s sponsorship activity, namely the AJ Bell Great Run Series. 
  • Work with partners to ensure we maximise all contractual rights, including branding, comms and hospitality.
  • Work with the Customer Marketing team to maximise lead generation and customer incentive opportunities from our sponsorships. 
  • Provide activity updates and reports to senior management as requested.
  • Play an important role within the wider brand team to help the team implement our brand strategy across our partnerships.
  • Lead the delivery of our AJ Bell Futures Foundation charity partnerships, developing and managing a calendar of activity with our partners to ensure we reach our shared objectives.
  • Manage the AJ Bell Futures Foundation employee nomination initiative– from nominations through to fulfilment and comms
  • Work with the HR team to raise the profile of the AJ Bell Futures Foundation and increase engagement with volunteering and fundraising
  • Help manage sponsorship budget to ensure all activity is delivered within agreed budget.
  • Supporting and enabling the business to achieve its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
  • Line management responsibility for Brand Executive

Competence, knowledge and skills: 

  • Demonstratable brand experience, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry. 
  • Understanding of financial services and AJ Bell's market position. 
  • Previous experience within partnerships. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Highly organised and able to work to deadlines. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Good project management skills.
